Privacy Policy
Sivett processes candidate data for hiring companies as their Data Processor under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. This page sets out what we process, where it’s stored, how long we keep it, and the rights candidates have.
Last updated:
1. Who we are
Sivett is an AI recruitment platform built and provided by Celerinn Technologies Private Limited, #502, Vishnu Pearl, Kondapur, Hyderabad, Telangana, India (“Sivett”, “we”). This policy covers (a) candidates whose applications are processed through Sivett for a hiring company, and (b) visitors to sivett.com and users of customer accounts.
2. Our role for candidate data
When a company hires through Sivett, that company is the Data Fiduciary for candidate data under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and Sivett is its Data Processor. We process candidate data only to provide the service, on that company’s documented instructions. One company’s candidate data is never made available to another company.
3. Candidate data we process
Name and contact details; resume content; employment and education history; current and expected compensation, notice period, location and work-mode preferences; screening answers; first-round interview video, audio, transcripts and code; and integrity signals from interview proctoring.
4. How it is used
To score resumes against the hiring company’s positions, screen candidates on that company’s questions over WhatsApp or email, conduct and evaluate first-round interviews, match candidates in that company’s own resume repository to its future positions, and return results to the company and its applicant tracking system. Scores and reports are produced with AI models and are decision support for the company’s recruiters. Every decision to advance, reject or hire a candidate is made by people at the hiring company.
5. AI and model training
We do not use candidate data to train machine-learning models. Our AI model providers do not train on data sent through their APIs under their commercial terms.
6. Where data is stored and who processes it
Our application, database and interview recordings are hosted in India. AI model calls and some delivery services are processed outside India. Our sub-processors:
| Sub-processor | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Microsoft Azure | Application and database hosting | India |
| Cloudflare (R2) | Interview recording storage | India |
| Anthropic | AI models for scoring and interview evaluation | United States and other regions |
| OpenAI | Interview transcription and supporting AI model calls | United States |
| Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business Platform) | Delivering screening messages | Outside India |
| Resend | Sending email to candidates and users | United States |
A hiring company’s own applicant tracking system is connected on its instruction and is not a Sivett sub-processor. We give customers at least 30 days’ notice before adding or replacing a sub-processor.
7. How long we keep it
Default periods (a hiring company may set shorter ones, or delete data earlier):
- Resumes, scores and screening answers: for the term of the company’s contract with Sivett, as that company’s repository for matching to its future positions
- Interview recordings: 6 months from the interview
- Interview transcripts and reports: 24 months from the interview
- WhatsApp and email screening messages: 12 months from the conversation
When a contract ends, the company has 30 days to export its data, and we delete it within a further 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep it.
8. Security
Encryption in transit and at rest, access limited to staff who need it, and logging of administrative access. If a breach affects candidate data, we inform the hiring company within 48 hours of becoming aware of it.
9. Website visitors and customer users
For visitors: sivett.com sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Two things on the site come from other companies:
- The site’s typeface is loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser requests the font files from Google’s servers (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) when a page loads.
- The “Book a walkthrough” button opens Calendly’s scheduling widget. It is loaded from Calendly only when you click the button, and Calendly handles the details you enter under its own privacy and cookie practices.
To return you to your place on the homepage, the site keeps your scroll position in your browser’s session storage. It stays in your browser, is never sent to us, and is cleared when you close the tab.
When you book a walkthrough or contact us, we use your name, work email, company and message to respond. For customer account users: login details and usage records, used to run and support the account.
10. Your rights
Candidates can ask to access, correct or erase their data. Because the hiring company decides how your application is handled, please contact that company first; we help them respond. You can also write to us and we will route your request. You can stop WhatsApp screening messages at any time using WhatsApp’s own opt-out and block controls.
11. Contact and grievances
Grievance Officer: Raju, Celerinn Technologies Private Limited.
Email: raju@sivett.com
Address: as in section 1.
We respond within the timelines the DPDP Act and its rules require.
12. Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above.
